The leather handicraft in Vietnam has developed for along time but only gives simple products and models. However, in the last 5 years, it has grown strongly thanks to artisans, one of them is Hoang Thanh Tung, an artisan of sophisticated leather producs in Nguyen Quy Ducstreet, Thanh Xuan distric, Hanoi. His products has sold in many countries around the world.

Nguyen Thanh Long in Cau Giay district, Hanoi has been one of reguler customers of SHEN | handmade in Vietnam for six years: "When using Tung's leatherware I am satisfied that they are all well refined. In addition to their beauty, they also bear the beauty of their maker. That's the thing I like most"

The handmade leatherware  of SHEN | handmade in Vietnam has a uniques style by Hoàng Thanh Tùng, the brand's owner, as an Architect in the passion for leather handicraft, Tùng has spend alot of time to study the crafting methods of many world famous brands. In 2012 hệ opend his workshop and start providing exquisite leather products to customers at home and abroad. According to Tung, to make a beatiful and sophisticated handmade leatherware of good quality and high practicality, the artisan must understand what customer wants, they also need to devote their heart and mind to each product. He say: " When I studies leatherware, I meet well known from Japan and France, I have changed leather handicraft from my hobby in to my profession which is recognized by many people around the world".

Hoang Thanh Tung also teaches many youngster with the same passion in leather handicraft. They are not just skill worker but also gifted in fine art. Nguyen Minh Trang - Apprentic: "Tung design all product in his worshop, they are very beatiful and usefull"
